I am 40 and have never seen or even heard of 85 octane before this article.

The mk4 -> mk5 Mitsubishi Eclipse

I’ve said it before on here but the development of the 1994 Dodge Ram pickup series from the previous generation spanning back to the 70's was ground-breaking. That design shifted the public perception of pickup trucks and all the major automakers followed suit within 2 years.

2003 Altima. Big change.

C4 to C5 Corvette.

The change from the 2012 to the 2013 Ford Fusion was mind-blowing to a lot of people.

The Gallardo to the Huracan was also pretty impressive.

Minivans. All of them.

I know, right? It’s the difference between a slightly longer compact SUV and a midsize SUV. Or Rav4 to Highlander. Escape to Explorer. CR-V to Pilot.

Mark Eaton reference? Starred, my man!

Most days, I have to fight the urge to tell someone — anyone — that the Aztek was truly the precursor to modern, boring crossovers.”

They oddly did the same thing with the Telluride, comparing it to full size, body on frame, SUVs based solely on its boxy appearance. An extra foot of length is a MASSIVE difference between cars.

I think your internal calibration device is broken. 185 inches is much smaller than 197 (6.5% shorter) [it’s also 4% narrower] , 3800 lbs is much less weight than 4300 lbs (13% less weight) and 27.5 mpg is much better than 23 (19.5% better mileage).

came to post the same thing. These are roughly the same size as I (5'9") am roughly the same size as Mark Eaton.

The difference between 197 inches and 185 is huge. They aren’t roughly the same size - they are in different classes.

Did you want it this bad when it was on a 2013 Civic? *eyeroll*

Twitter may make comparisons between the new WRX and tail lights off of old Civics, Accords, or Kias, but none of those brands have ever made a tail light as interesting as these.

I think it needs about 10-15% less... everything.

Damnitt. That’s exactly what I was going to post. Bridge was just chilling there being a bridge.

I LOVE fixes like this! Most people if they could even be bothered to fix this would just throw the old door out and get a junkyard door and likely not bother to paint it. These small but complex fixes are very satisfying once completed.

They had me at hood scoop.
