Remember electronic devices don't seem to work for Nora. My wife's theory is that the machine didn't work.

It's possible to do, but hard to do successfully. Mike Nesmith made deeply strange and original music after the Monkees, but it only ever had a niche audience. You could argue that Justin Timberlake is the most successful at it recently, or at least the most successful at being taken seriously even though he was

When I first heard "Sign of the Times," it made me think of "Praying for Time," George Michael's plea to be taken seriously. The two share the same dilemma. They were massively popular because they sang catchy pop songs and were gorgeous, but they felt they lacked credibility. "Listen Without Prejudice" is all

No, the show will be about the dance troupe she starts in jail.

…in the Dharma Initiative!

Crazy Whitefella Thinking.

By the way, I love your work Señor Spielbergo

Wouldn't the basketball court be near the pool?

Sid F'n Bream.

Is the Che Stadium concert included?

Madam! We require waffles!

As someone who has never understood the whole Queen Bee thing and was baffled at her performance there a couple of years ago - I have to agree with the article. I was at the show in DC. The oddest thing about the crowd for me was the pure giddy excitement they had for Alice in Chains. How about Peralta's Dad on Brooklyn 99?

Maybe it was the huge expectations, but I was completely underwhelmed by that film, too. I was thinking, "it took that long to make a movie this trite?"

This news alarms me. From the very beginning, this show has been better than any other show of its kind. It is smarter and funnier and can occasionally be poignant or even newsworthy (with Joe Biden). 8 months is not long enough for a show to find its audience. Just ask Conan. Let the man do his show.

The 80s were great for these songs - along with the ones you mentioned there were -
Dancing With Tears in My Eyes - Ultravox
Put Down that Weapon - Men at Work
Russians - Sting
It's A Mistake - Men at Work
Two Suns in the Sunset - Pink Floyd
Final Countdown - Europe
Two Tribes - Frankie Goes to Hollywood
Peace in Our Time -

Away from a drum kit, I don't really see Keith Moon as manic. He we more lugubrious and unpredictable and surprisingly charming. A young Albert Finney comes to mind.
