That’s really not true. The Caps have a very good home ice advantage. Even Redskins games, which are notorious for being opposing team friendly, it’s usually no worse than 70/30, usually in divisional games. And against certain teams (Cubs, Cards, etc) Nats Park will occasionally get taken over, but not that often.

I can’t recall a situation quite this extreme for the Redskins though.
