Still haven't been able to get in touch with an owner.. and it's just rotting away :(
240z of course! One of the original lightweight, affordable RWD cars that showed the Japanese automakers could compete in the American sports car market.
5.4 does seem a bit slow even for a WRX. Any word on how much it will weigh approximately?
Agreed, Z33 and Z34 weigh too much. Heck a BRZ weighs almost 600 less than those. Bring back a lightweight RWD car and I'd buy another. Straight six would be a bonus.
Yes please!
I may be biased, but 240Z.
Nissan needs a lightweight RWD car. The Z34 weighs about 3300lbs? That's just too much. If it was at the BRZ/FRS weight it'd be perfect.
Yessss. Nissan take my money. I love that it has the BRE style livery.
Though I wish they would bring back the Datsun name. Nissan IDx just doesn't sound right.
After years of dreaming about owning a 240Z I finally decided to go ahead and get one back in July. One of the best decisions I've ever made. It has required a bit of work but that goes for any car that's 40 years old. Here's a pic of mine:
