If you're going to create something, do it well. But not too well, or you get annihilated by the very entity that gave you the go-ahead to create that something.

Like Fight Club?

Or his entire career

80s?

He had a good filler role, but was not remarkably funny in HP

Maverick really should have stayed to play longer

That same thing you described transferred to Brian and Dom in The Fast and the Furious, which has essentially the same plot as PB.

There's even a nod to Road House in the original PB.

As a writer with only one idea, I'm somewhat offended by your comment…

Imagine the reaction had Swift recorded a song projecting about blurred lines

Damn. That's a really good point.

I Am the Doorway seems like it would make a great movie

I couldn't wait for Ross Geller, a.k.a. Ed the counselor, to get waxed.

Interestingly, the screen adaptation of The Body is also his favorite.

Mrs. Todd's Shortcut is a great story, with no horror whatsoever. More like a fairy tale. Lest we forget, Dark Tower is not horror.

Interesting take

I thought that piece was brilliant writing. Jack also had a no-choice moment when he broke the snowmobile rather than face possible homelessness.

Which begs the question of why his character would marry someone who makes him want to take an axe to her face.

It makes me wonder why the hell he married her in the first place.
