Sandler is drowning in loyal resources who can help him make great movies; unfotunately he's just going through the motions lately. IMO, he will eventually be unable to tap into his resources and hit revenues like before. Now's the time to turn it around, before his brand turns sour.

Key word " brand"; something Sandler established early in his filmmaking career. PDL and Funny People seemed to exhibit his maturation…for awhile.

This.

You had me way back at "vomit out of my eyesockets".

Comedies with the "right" people (with relevant star power) are cash cows. Kinda waiting in the wings to see how the new Vacation fares for just this reason.

"Don't like it? Don't watch!!!!" doesn't really apply here (although comments of this nature seem to always appear on similarly themed articles). The narrative is how Sandler's filmmaking path has devolved and has grown more disrespectful to his fan base. Something people (none of whom seem to be upset) obviously

What's cooler than being cool? Being Outkast.

But…but…no one had ever done that before!

You're right, they're getting dumber, like skyrockets in flight. Now I have a serious question: Is she really going out with him?

Sandler Modus Operandi

Looking up "hyperbole" to see if it's defined by "painting a broad comparison between two very different movies using only opening weekend revenue as a guide, just because they share the same opening weekend". The quality of each movie doesn't seem to have been taken into consideration at all.

Viewers tune in specifically for these relationships, and rosie1843 is right; generally actors' modus operandi is to suck it up and do your job, just like us'n's in the real world have to do.
Unfortunately, without these relationships, there's no story arc, and thus no show. Think about virtually ANY TV show EVER.

Goldblum, a.k.a. Ian Malcolm was almost as awesome as the dinosaurs.

You read what others had done, and you took the next step.

Yes, very much. Great dialogue between Tyrion and Varys, but their part of the story did not move forward much.

Oh, sorry. I tend to look a little deeper than what the show feeds us. You're right, on paper and screen, she's not in episode 1.

Or like asking Raymond Babbitt whether he wants to leave the institute with his brother, or stay.

Because Cersei?

It's clear early on that the brakes are being gently applied to several storylines; possibly due to the show's surge past the book series. For example, I love Arya's path through GoT, but she's been sitting in front of that house for two entire episodes. Kudos to the writers, who are able to keep it intriguing

I'm of the belief that medieval hyperbole like GoT will eventually become stale. I love it now but no character is safe, long term, which compromises the fan base. Dani must have at least 10m fans all on her own.
