Dead on… there has not been a single scene in BCS to give the audience the impression that Chuck has ever wanted Jimmy to succeed as a lawyer. His insistence on pursuing this latest vendetta against Jimmy, despite having nothing to gain in a court of law or in the court of public opinion (as Howard notes), is just

"You know, it's funny. When you look at the world through rose colored glasses, all of the red flags just look like flags."

Season 1 is not bad. I don't understand all the hate. I'll admit, I wasn't convinced I liked the show after watching episode 1, but things picked up quickly from there. BoJack Hates the Troops, Prickly-Muffin, and Zoes and Zeldas all have a ton of funny moments with inspired social commentary to boot. The writing

That episode is so incredible. The gut punch at the end, followed by the beautifully animated return trip… it's something else, that's for sure.

Let's Find Out is one of the funniest episodes of television I've ever seen. I think I've watched it 20 times or something, and I'm still laughing every time.

For me, Bojack Horseman S2 is the comedic gold standard of the 21st century.
