I don’t have a problem with them not knowing, say, if a box of cereal is 4 or 5 or 6 dollars specifically but there is something to be said for not having people be so out of touch with most people’s lives that they just have no idea. 

Can anyone answer what the deal is with the show’s setting? Is it written by Americans who’ve never been to the UK? Or by Brits trying to guess at what American-style high schools are like?

I don’t have the Cel-Ray much but when I do have them I always feel like it’s something I would like a lot if it were just less sweet.
