You do have stairs, don’t you?

Thanks for the history. She said she had at least four of them, I think she may not be above cutting one up for the sake of art.
Last year in the winter I just happened to be at the Porsche museum in Stuttgart when a visitor casually drove up in his 959. German’s are cool that way.
Also, this.
If you’ve ever been to the Mercedes Benz museum in Stuttgart, you would see a full size bus on the seventh floor. There is no giant freight elevator. I think you can make it happen.
Really great article! You explained a ton of info.
Never owned one but wanted one badly in the 90’s. I was a med student and it was beyond my means. When these cars came out they were a huge performance gain over the E30 and priced lower as well, actually close enough to the 325 that it probably cannibalized sales from it. It really doesn’t deserve any of its bad…
Nobody else is picking up the missing headlight?
So much yes! I still have my Dad’s ‘04 which I’ve maintained meticulously since new. Still rides amazingly well and sounds like an offshore powerboat while doing so. The mileage might not be the best but the range is great on family road trips. It’s unstoppable in all weather.
Rock rails win. Every. Single. Time.
What does it weigh?
I see a Mazda Millenia, the painted mirrors make a 70's car less likely.
My honest but extremely douchy comment is that I commute in an M2 and honestly don’t notice the price of fuel.
I’m really loving the shoes with the price tag still on theme you have going.
These cars have never really been cheap. I sold my ‘99 for more than I bought it for new in 2001.
So tough to say! You leave out the CRX and S2000, as well as the third generation ‘Lude. How about ‘87-‘01?
I sold my JDM Prelude when I left Japan, moved to the US, bought a new ‘99 Civic Si, sold it for more than I paid for it and bought a new S2000. As tough as it was for me to read yesterday’s and today’s articles, I’m really dreading what you post tomorrow.
It’s been absolutely perfect with no oil burning or electric issues. It’s been on five different tracks and ten states.
I bought my 2012 new and have maintained it regularly, it’s been as reliable as a Honda.
Please get your facts straight if you are going to report on this. It’s not “goomba”. That is a friend. The correct term is “goomar” for “Coumare”, the correct term for a gangster’s side piece. Otherwise, great article,
