Is it even necessary to mention that David Tracy wrote this?

Thank you! I always thought these looked like toys

Not the best shot of it but that’s my GTO in that pic. Yes, that is the actual convenience store from “Clerks” that I’m parked in front of.

This story is getting so great, i seriously check in every day. I hope you make it this time.

Pretty much. The Countach hinted at being named after a curse word, the FXXK leaves no doubt.

I was wondering how anything could top Chris Harris driving the FXXK around Daytona. I agree, it’s awesome, Matt, Chris and Rory are a great combination.

This is a brilliant idea. In the early 80's, American cars were very slow and extremely unreliable. That eta engine isn’t much less powerful than a contemporary Mustang 5.0 or Z28. There’s a reason the late 70's were the malaise era. Anyone who wanted a fast car would usually modify an older car, since the emissions

The same exact thing took place this past Friday night in southeast Florida. The sonic booms shook our houses so hard it sounded like they were collapsing. Cool stuff.

You haven’t lived until you’ve shifted a five on the tree with your left hand. I want one of those trucks bady.

Awesome as usual, Kat, I always look forward to reading your posts. When I lived in Japan I swapped out the complete interior in my Prelude for practically nothing and a huge improvement in driving enjoyment. I wasn’t aware you needed a special license to drive a manual. I guess the military license covered it.

Agreed. I felt bad when I turned mine in seeing all the people in this normally very busy dealer just sitting around. The buyback guy was very nice, I was the fifth person turning a car in that day, I’m pretty sure they didn’t sell that many new cars.

Indeed sad. Here’s mine in front of the factory it was built in, a quick stop off of a 3500 mile road trip.

Yes, mine is the unlimited. I’ve used all 5 seats many times. War Pig Off Road makes an awesome rear seat comfort kit that makes a huge difference and is easy to install.

The ride and comfort of the JK really isn’t as bad as so many say. I have one and love it. I’ve had it on several long multi-state road trips and was very comfortable the whole time. It’s an awesome commuter, has a great sound system and is very practical. Mine has a six speed and is lots of fun to drive as well.

I was stationed in Biloxi in 1994-95 back when slavery was still legal. (It was legal until 2013). I had more culture shock moving here than anywhere else I’ve ever lived. This does not surprise me

David, thanks for staying on top of this and keeping us frustrated TDI owners informed. Your coverage is the best I’ve seen.

Did you compress the file? It should have all 7 pages, not just the signed ones in a single document. You may have to compress them into a zip file.

Another frustrated TDI owner here. The portal is vague at best and same story, when I called it turned out that ten business days is now twenty, and they are asking me to be patient despite the fact that I’ve been patient since September 2015. As a repeat customer with three teenage daughters who will be getting

With Recaros and a stick! Badass indeed.

97% for a Camaro SS. I’ll take it!
