Frankly, Geohot should have kept his activities to himself. His thirst for glory has resulted in getting a useful feature of classic PS3 hardware removed.

Thinking about it - I had a couple of games for the PS3 freeze on me in the past. The problem was my greasy finger prints on the disc.

After 20 hours of play, I haven't had a single issue. In fact, I am really impressed by the lack of framerate drop and tearing throughout the game. Fantastic achievement.

FFXIII if, after arouund 10 hours of playtime already, proving to be a distinctly different FF game but nonetheless a good one. The linearity of the game is a little disappointing but the characterisation and storyline are really quite special.

@Dreamwriter: Star Trek in its native aspect ratio would come out at something like 1024 x 460ish which leaves massive black borders top and bottom. So your choice is sub-HD with black bars or full screen with bits lopped off of the side... Not much of a choice to be honest.

It does nothing that my existing devices can't already do at a higher resolution, proper aspect ratio etc. So no, I will not be buying one.

$40 is perfectly reasonable for such a great game with the extras that have been added.

I missed the 'infrequent flyer' trophy on my run through the main game - does anybody know if this DLC will allow me to get that trophy in the flying sections?

The Android OS is fantastic and I love developing for it. It is also a pain due to the hardware differences between devices as well as software differences which mean that whatever you develop, you have to keep in mind that some people will not have as good an experience as others.

The controls are great as long as your PSP analog nubbin thing isn't knackered, like mine. If it is, then all control systems in the game are rubbish.

I do like the Mad Catz SFIV tournie sticks but I also find the new Hori V3 SA stick to be rather interesting as well.
