I think part of it was that her affection for him felt far too convincing. If we had been given ANY tiny indication that her feelings for him weren't genuine, I might not have felt the same. That's why I felt the only way it would work is if she was brain washed to carry out this deed, and truly did love him, but then

I don't have to think about it. I found it too cynical and I think they could have made the same points without it…I also have been married to a white woman for 22 years, so there's that also.

Hey, I didn't say I believed it, only that it's more convincing than most.

I'm not really one for conspiracy theories, but the Bill Hicks / Alex Jones one is spookily convincing. Lost an afternoon going down that rabbit hole.

Did you hear the one about the male porn star who was being judged by his own peers? The trial ended with a hung jury.

With all the blood and violence on this show, the thing that made my wife cover her eyes and ears in revulsion was Varga eating on the toilet.

She shows her boobies in Adaptation!

These past two episodes have done a lot to redeem this season. Not that I thought any of it was bad, but it felt less inspired in stretches. Now that the all the threads have come together and you can see the grand design of it all, it's definitely become a worthy Fargo season.

Part of his Batman theme was a shameless rip-off of Bernard Hermann's Journey to the Centre of the Earth— https://youtu.be/ttV5C5evB7Y

I like Batman and Beetlejuice and Dick Tracy but his most iconic scores are weakened somewhat by sounding too similar to each other. Midnight Run sounds like nothing else he, or anyone else, has done, and has such great energy and playfulness to it.

My favourite Elfman score is actually the one he did for Midnight Run.

Who would have thought this talkback would get out of hand?…The only thing this incident proves is that assholery is not exclusive to any ideology, creed or religion.

I like the Fox News slogan that was on The Simpsons; Not racist, but #1 with racists!

You can make fun of anyone you want. I'm just saying I don't like this. As I said, I'm cool with making fun of someone for the specific dumb things they've done or said. If Ivanka does or says something dumb that impacts policy and hurts other people, I think it's valid to criticize or satirize her over it. And it may

I think people should keep their ire aimed at the right targets. Making fun of the man's wife will accomplish nothing, since I'm pretty sure she has absolutely ZERO influence over anything of consequence, including her husband.

And if she was satirized just for that, I'd understand, but they are ridiculing her in every which way, some based on speculation about who she is. Not a fan of the President AT ALL, but I think it crosses a line that I'm uncomfortable with. I think what it is, is that I'm fine with poking fun at someone's political

I'm fine with poking fun at and satirizing politicians. It's part of their job to be held up to public scrutiny. But going after a politician's spouses and children for no reason other than being that doesn't sit well with me. Unless they have done something publicly on their own that specifically warrants ridicule, I

If you watched The Untold History of the United States, it's pretty clear Stone has a sympathetic view of Communist Russia, uncomfortably so for me. I'm willing to entertain alternative views, and the show shed light on things and historical figures I was previously unaware of, but Stone's complete reluctance to dwell
