I don't know much of Rich Fulcher outside his Mighty Boosh stuff, so I was never entirely sure whether he was a Renius (retard/genius) or what.
But this was a helluva great '11 Questions'.

agreed - one of those occasions where studio interference/restraints resulted in a better film than the one the director had intended - the director's cut was terrible.

I too preferred Akta Manniskor to Humans, although to be fair there wasn't a huge difference in quality between the two shows - the Swedish original was a bit grittier and seemed to have a bigger budget, although they both hit upon very similar themes - the mother in Akta Manniskor was a more impressive character than

awesome, I'll try to track that one down I think

yeah he sounds pretty anguished on the chorus in particular - he's never gonna live again!

'Feel'? That's one of my very faves!

Well they only made the 3 albums, so there's not a whole heap to investigate.

Jonathan Richman, for sure.

Great review of the series, this feature has slowly become one of my faves on AV, well done.

Be Polite!

Yup they're all great unnerving moments, agree with all dat.

no.

I want a trilogy, each film focusing on one of Marty's dance cycles…

yeah but Wade this role could work out real well for me, Jean and Scotty ..

If there was to be a spin-off from the Big Lebowski, the obvious one would have been the adventures of our recently-departed brother seamus Jon Polito's detective character Da Fino.
Turturro has been licking too many bowling balls if he thinks this is a good idea ..

so the fucks down at the league office really were a bunch of Krauts?

virtually all the songs on Remain in Light are played in one chord ..

absolutely.

yeah; I dunno - I hesitated to make that comment because I am a huge Talking Heads nut, and Weymouth's bass parts remain a massive part of their sound, and also because I didn't want to come across as some misogynistic dude with an angle.
But she has consistently rubbed me up the wrong way in interviews.
Byrne knows how

I watched the Chris Frantz/Tina Weymouth reaction vid.
Frantz generally comes across as a genial guy, but he is obviously still very, very bitter about David Byrne.
And if he's bitter, well, Tina Weymouth, who was the main band member to have beefed with Byrne when they were an active band, comes across as a total flake.
