Really? The LT5 was a huge accomplishment back in 1989. Read the book “Heart of the beast”. If only GM did things like lotus and GM did back then you wouldn’t a ton of engine failures. Tell me another car that averaged 179 MPH over a 24 hour period? Can’t think of one I bet.
