I think it should be abundantly clear to Sony that, as far as Spider-Man movies go, they need Marvel more than the other way around. It really helps for them to be able to put Peter Parker in that vibrant, colorful, fun, expansive universe, as opposed to whatever half-assed Fincher wannabe grimdark BS Sony comes up…
Considering Marvel’s partnership with Sony to produce Spider-Man films potentially ends with Far From Home, ending Phase 3 with it makes more sense than it kicking off Phase 4.
Hopefully Sony isn’t dumb enough to end the partnership and just lets Marvel keep the ball rolling, while they focus their efforts on stuff…
