ive reached the point where i roll my eyes at him. im a lefty bleeding heart liberal, but he’s to the extreme. my wife kept her maiden name. he took his wife’s.

Pete Bootygang is what too many of my people view as progress. Nope. Sorry. A classist/racist that isn’t a homophobe doesn’t mean you win the game. It just means you’re one strike away from being out.

Context does matter, but you are picking and choosing what context matters to you. As it stands, white people wearing dark makeup to appear black is the continuation of a practice tied to the mocking of black people, and often enslaved Africans, in the US. That’s the context for this. More context for this, which a

Oddly enough, I thought that Discovery’s excessive, overly-expositional emotionalism worked really well here, though it wasn’t without the standard leaps in logic we’ve come to expect from the show. I’m hoping it was the hand of Michelle Paradise on the script, given that her previous credited episode, “Project

I was one of those rare diehards who clocked in over a hundred hours in the game in its worst, weakest state.

At launch this game was nearly perfect for me - a dicking-around-in-space simulator with gorgeous aesthetics and music. I spent 60ish hours on it before moving on to other games.

The problem is that people have trouble separating what is being promised and what is being pondered.”

if the game could ever come to Switch: “So it’s not something we’re talking about at the moment? You must know this. We’ve learned the hard way to not encourage guesswork and whatever.”

And I am Jack’s SMIRKING REVENGE. Nice to meet you. These comments are trashy people wanting their pound of flesh. Nothing more. NMS is dope and in a great place regardless of the tears they spill.

Comment section on story about moving away from toxicity turns toxic. I am Jack’s complete lack of surprise.

You’re missing out.  If you would have appreciated it for what it was rather than what you expected, you’d probably like it, especially now with how much they’ve delivered on those promises (better late than never).

I really hope that at some point (official or a mod) that they recreate the color palette from the launch game. The updates, while awesome, don’t have that Syd Mead sci-fi dreaminess that it it had at launch.  Love the game regardless

I’ve been a huge booster of this show. I’ve maintained that the first season was the strongest start for any Trek since TOS and I’m still convinced I’m right. I’ve said that everything about the aesthetics and cast is perfect and wonderful and makes this look and feel like the best Trek has ever been and I still

Thanks for calling my grandmother famous.

Based on my encounters with non-Jewish progressives, as a person who is both Jewish and progressive and had issues with the things that Ilhan Omar has tweeted and did find her language to be anti-Semitic (although I think it’s very likely that she didn’t fully realize that or know why it was a problem- something I do

I’m with Zack. I’d been really unhappy with the way the show was developing in its second season, but this episode was excellent, and I think it bodes well for the future that the first credited script from the incoming season 3 showrunner is such a jump in quality. (According to IMDB, she’s also writing the last two

Christ almighty, you’re such a transparently disingenuous liar.

Notch’s predilection for fedoras was a giant red flag from the get-go...

The best explanation I heard was this. So many of these guys are the basement dwelling stereotypes you read about, the ones who can’t get a date. They’ve convinced themselves that it’s because they like comics and SF and fantasy and nerdy things that girls don’t get. Now, with more and more women becoming fans and
