When I see a game that includes IAP/DLC at all, the first thing I do (before even downloading) is take a look at what they are. If I see anything even remotely resembling varying size bags/boxes/crates/etc of coins/gems/crystals/etc then I pass. I won't even download it.

WHY YOU KEEP POKING ME?

Now playing

Reminds me of a certain retrospective series:

I don't think I've ever ever come close to exhibiting this much passion while watching a bunch of guys run around on a grass field whilst kicking a white orb.

I am experiencing a feeling of great pleasure from Brazil's humiliation....if only there was a word in German that precisely defined this emotion.

My interpretation of it was that they aren't saving the content that gets generated at all. However, it does sound like at specific point in the universe would have a specific seed to it based on location and who knows what else. Because that area has that specific seed always, you can reliably know that everyone

The thing is, games like the Elder Scrolls are extremely limited. Skyrim is predesigned, once you've seen one town or one dungeon, you've seen them all. Everything is meticulously hand-crafted by people and will never ever change. And even then, most quests in games are just busy-work to simulate having a purpose. "Go

Cutesy is subjective you turd licking dog sniffer

this is an indie game you fuckface shit eating ass chewing deer fucker

The game, looks kinda cool but not my thing. The music, fuck yeah, Ronald Jenkees!

I did, and the argument still falls extremely flat. When 12 Years a Slave came out, for example, nobody was outraged at the posters depicting slavery and demanding they be changed - it was a controversial film, sure, but the critique it received was leagues above the childish tantrums people are throwing over this

RIGHT?! He's a villain, you're supposed to hate him - having a racist, colonial piece of shit villain in your game/book/movie doesn't mean your game/book/movie is racist. :/

Isn't the POINT that it's most likely racism at play here? If this were a book people wouldn't give a shit, but for some reason other mediums are held to this insanely high politically correct standard. Grow the fuck up.

So if you fail once give up forever? Thank God you don't make decisions for the rest of the tech industry. We'd still be using the fucking abacus.

Dang it, Bobby!

I just can't understand why you care how much the game costs after you buy it. If the price goes up later, then the people who are going to purchase it can decide if its worth it or not, that's up to them. But it's either worth $5 right now, or it isn't. Your stance appears nonsensical.

The guy writing words on the internet for a living, or the guy who was (presumably) paid to adhere a ton of perfectly shaped objects together in an aesthetically pleasing way?

At least this is both visually interesting and by the looks of it, super hard to do.

Funny, that's probably one of my favorite games of all time.
