What I would give for one of those tanks to swivel the turret towards these knobs.

I was in DC last week, staying about 2 blocks from the White House.  In the park next to us, there were homeless people sleeping every night.  They are literally on his front lawn.

It’ll be a similar process to cleaning coal.

I agree. It’s funny, as I was reading your second sentence I started thinking about how that sounded like cable companies as well. Brilliant minds, etc.

You just keep doing it when you make a claim as to what people feel about “their own insurance” then start talking about “a majority of people are satisfied with both the cost and quality of the care they personally receive”. Insurance companies don’t provide health care. That’s the whole goddamn point. No one cares

Or our current leader declares a state of emergency to divert funding into his stupid wall and goes golfing.

Here’s the thing. Just because you don’t like the laws or how they’re enforced does not mean that they’re not laws. I don’t like how speed limits are enforced on freeways. Doesn’t mean I can just ignore that speed camera ticket.

The GOP loves the IDEA of all of this things.  It’s just the people that make up the organizations that they don’t care about.  The concept of a standing military, the concept of farmers, the concept of coal miners.  As long as you don’t get any of those icky individual people involved, the concepts are great to them.

Exactly.  Plus, we were told by our compensation person that they don’t look at things like Glassdoor to get pay data, because it’s “too easy for people to drive the numbers up with false data.”  Instead they use companies that aggregate the data in private from companies with employees having zero visibility.

And people always thought religion was the opiate of the masses.

Yeah, I heard a term at work recently where they referred to cost of living vs. cost of labor. Basically, the idea is to ignore any sort of cost of living study, and only focus on what other companies pay people in similar roles. The example they gave was cost of living in San Francisco being 50% higher than other

How does this help them be seen if there are no links to tweets/Youtube comments? It just makes us (more) aware that there are shitty people out there.

This sounds dangerously close to supporting renewable resources.

Haven’t we kind of learned to take these sorts of polls with a grain of salt?  When’s the last time you replied to a poll?  Even the theoretically representative polls aren’t anymore, because no one who knows how to avoid one does.

Now I want to see a version of the debates where the mic gets muted anytime a fact checker determines what you said to be patently false. Get muted three times, you get a pie to the face. Three pies means a trap door opens beneath you, dumping you into ice cold water.

Yeah, those tax and spend Republicans.

So in your view, the worse people are the ones presenting half measures to help, as opposed to those actively trying to hurt?

This reminds me of a podcast I just listened to about the anti-abolitionist riots in Boston in the 1840s. In general riots were seen as how poor people voiced their grievances, and were thus considered beneath a gentleman. Basically because a gentleman could just go to the legislators, tell them what they want, and

As someone going through the IVF process with my wife as we speak (we actually have a number of blastocysts waiting for implantation) there is some really fun paperwork to fill out before the process begins, entirely about what to do with embryos that aren’t used in the process. The good news is that they remain the

When fucking ICE officials are the moral compass telling you something is reprehensible, you’ve hit an all time low. and of course his idiot supporters will be all for it, to own the libs.
