I like this version, but the article seems to indicate that Arya DID consider murdering Sansa, and that Sansa only realized what was happening when she consulted Bran afterwards. And I thought it was obvious that Arya, at least, was playing LF, but I couldn’t figure why her threat to Sansa would be part of it. Maybe

I don’t mind this idea, but without a scene at least explaining that, it just ends up being the audience trying to justify some otherwise questionable writing/directing. It’s nothing that prohibits me from enjoying the show, you just wish they’d have figured out a way to do it better.

It’s a good point—the audience saw all of their development, but they didn’t. Still, after everything they endured, I guess I would have thought they would have sought more of a connection with each other. Like, “Holy sh*t, the world practically destroyed us! We Starks really should stick together and work through

That would have made more sense. I don’t get the impression the show was smart enough to even consider that, though.

Fine, but it doesn’t really explain why Arya would suddenly feel all murdery with her sister, and start talking about taking her place to wear her pretty dresses—something she explicitly has been shown not to care about.

While I have this game, I’ve had no interest in creating any levels on my own. I’ll occasionally put it in and try and find some interesting levels to beat, but the hype around it has far exceeded my own interest.

I agree—which is frustrating, as they could have just as easily had Bran say “Jon was never Ned’s son—he was the bastard son of Rheagar and Lyanna.” That would have been more accurate, and still allow Sam to fill in his part about Jon being their legitimate son. I can forgive some of the fuzzy time elements, but

Well, there was also a Targaryan bastard with the surname of Rivers. Basically, any “rule” seems to be pretty loose, and the naming seems to be able to be based on anything—where they’re born, or who they’re born to/raised by, etc. Nonetheless, “Sand” doesn’t really make any sense as a big reveal for Bran, since it

Well, F it. Apparently Aegon IV had multiple bastards who actually had different surnames (Rivers and Waters). Assuming those names had to be dictated by the mother, it still doesn’t make any sense, since Lyanna was a Stark, which puts it at Snow again. Jon’s parentage being finally revealed was obviously

No, you’re right—I found a Westeros map online. (Slow day at work.)

The idea she might be killed in childbirth is an interesting one, though it might seem anticlimactic after everything she’s done to go out that way. I think there’s more credence to the idea that Jaime will kill her. At this point, either he or Tyrion are the ones who probably have the most reason to kill her, and

I thought the bastard names were meant to follow the father’s house, not where they were born. So Snow was used when it was assumed he was Ned’s son. I’m guessing by Bran saying he was really a “Sand” that Targaryans were traditionally a southern house?

You’re sure that’s “phase”, with a “Z” sound, and not “face”?

Are there silly and stupid elements to this series? Certainly. But it’s already cemented its place as the greatest fantasy TV series of all time, similar to how LOTR is flawed but still the greatest fantasy movie series. I’ll miss my weekly hour in Westeros when this ends.

I think I was convinced he was back as soon as he sat upright in bed, before he even talked to Mike. He did so so decisively, in a way he hadn’t done ANYTHING since the season started. I was afraid to even hope it was the case, but so glad it finally happened. I still think we could have gotten to this point a few

It's a fine line between ironically appropriate and clever.

Ha! I like that. It's one movie I feel safe recommending to ANYONE, regardless if they even like Rush's music or not. Heck, it's probably even better if they don't—makes it even more eye-opening and refreshing.

I hadn't heard of this, and looked it up. WTF?

I have a whole load of X-Men and related titles from that era, but I'd dropped buying New Mutants before Liefeld came on board. Go figure, the first appearances of Cable and Deadpool are actually worth $$$…..and most of the stuff I have is most certainly NOT.

I guess I should check out more of his stuff? I love the Solaris soundtrack.
