New Super Mario Bros U may not be stuck on a failed platform, but Super Mario Sunshine is stuck on a failed platform.
Advance Wars launched in the US before 9/11, so the delay is an excuse
Now I’m gonna need my crayons, quiet corner and a nap to recover from this near tragedy that cost me my innocence as a young 47 year old adult! These kids are so full of it...
What do you expect, it’s 9 years old, and an 8th gen system trying to compete in the 9th gen. Had Wii U not been a massive failure and discontinued less than a year after launch, quickly replaced by Switch in 2013, we’d see more games right now on Super Switch Pro.
It’s a home console Pokemon game, what do you expect? You HAD to know jumping from handheld to home console was going to be rough, and this is why Nintendo should have made a successor to 3DS, so a proper handheld Pokemon game could release alonside this home console version.
sounds like competitive Smash
I just wish there were a handheld Pokemon game already for this generation. These home console on the go games are great, but I want that intimate feel those handheld games gave me. Ever since Switch came out, it’s home console games on the go, not handheld games, and I want handheld games. We need a 3DS sccessor I…
Looks or power? Power is the same
Sad thing is, if they released it, just because 80 million people owned an NES, it’d have outsold every Wii U game! Bad decision on Nintendo’s part not to release either game.
Except Switch is 8th generation, so its competitors are the PS4 and XBox One, not the X and PS5. Nintendo doesn’t have a 9th generation system. Look:
It’s just a shame no one is ever going to play Wind Waker or the real Twilight Princess since they were both on failed Nintendo home systems.
The real reason they call it “Tears of the kingdom” is because of how many were looking forward to them porting WindWaker HD and Twilight Princess HD, both HD remakes of GameCube games on Wii U, but instead finally got the Breath of the Wild sequel they were promised in 2018.
when Wii U bombed shortly after launch, and got quickly recalled, Nintendo had their tail between their legs, nearly going bankrupt, so when another system massively fails like Wii U, we’ll see them start to support gamers again.
I miss the days when Wii U was massively failing and being recalled, with 3DS being the best selling system in history, but not covering Wii U’s massive losses enough that they were on the brink of bankruptcy every day, because then Nintendo wasn’t doing this stuff to employees.
Nintendo, the world’s biggest seller of new LCD televisions.
it’ll have to be for Switch’s successor, they wouldn’t release 9 while DLC is still coming out for 8, let alone release it right after the DLC is over, because it gives no one a reason to buy the DLC when a new game is there. Nintendo isn’t Game Freak, they know how to do it, MK 9 will probably launch around 2025 or…
it’s not really a port when you consider they added a battle mode. The closest you could call this is an enhanced port since it adds the battling back.
WHY do people still think Switch is going to get a second Mario Kart game? Nintendo isn’t stupid, you release a second game, then suddenly the fanbase is fragmented with some upgrading to 9, others having to choose between the 8 DX and 9, with 9 being higher would choose that over 8 meaning less active fans to sell…
Probably 2027, this thing is going to release its new tracks in 2023, and probably take a couple years to build a brand new one for Switch 2, so that’s 2025 if they immediately start developing it right as the DLC ends (doubtful).
