i don't get that connection

It is the second movement (Allegretto) from Beethoven's 7th symphony

in ep 2 of Deutschland 83 a beautiful piece of classical music was played not long after Martin arrives at the hotel. The title is on the tip of my tongue and seems to be staying there. What is it called plz ?
