And she was kinda snotty about collecting it in the end, too.

Not really sure why Jaqen would protect Arya, though. She saved his life, like, once, then when he tried to repay the debt she tried to trick him into killing himself.
I was always under the impression that the Waif was so unimpressed by Arya because she knew from the start that Arya could never become "no one."
I don't know enough dislanded noble ladies-cum-assassins to know what a natural end to that would look like.
A.V. Club writers gotta make quota somehow. After reading this, it's basically trying to say that one series' misery is slightly sunnier than another's, which I don't really agree with. Also, Samwell's kept that Craster baby alive for a pretty long time now, too.
It could also be that more emotion was ruling that decision than we first thought.
More of a Clark fan. Philip's too curly for me.
I'm guessing the hope would be that perhaps they could get her to turn on Clark?
That's kinda how Christopher Reeve played him in the live-action movies: cartoonishly bumbling and ineffectual and insecure, pretty much the opposite of what Superman was. Do you think the nebbish loser in your office could ever secretly be a crimefighter?
I like Anders and Tory. {:3
I always presumed we were supposed to "like" Kat as a rougher kind of character, not actually hate her and dread her showing up on screen, which I do.
I really hate "Scar" and I think a lot of it comes from also not really liking Kat in general. BSG also seems to have trouble writing smaller-scale episodes between the big dramatic beats of each season.
The Avengers' personal story of all the tall buildings of NYC gettin' blasted.
Yeah I'm fairly certain the difficulty in having people catch on to the show is due to its Amazon Prime exclusivity.
*cough cough* Buffy
I think that's where her and Dany differ.
Yeah, and he took Sansa with him expecting absolutely nothing in return, how sweet of him!
He rescued her by murdering someone and making her the prime suspect and making her completely dependent upon him for safety. I ain't givin' the man a medal.
You're wanting "The Professor" persona?
Even Josh Trank's name sounds unpalatable and irritating.
