Y'know why Sony hired Marc Webb (besides the awesome puns)? Because every other nameworthy director out there would rather eat shit and die than get tangled up into superhero tentpole blockbuster abominations. They gotta prey on smaller talent that aspire to better things.

No it's really pretty fucking awful, but in different ways than B&R was, ones more endemic to current studio mucking about.

He could come the closest to giving us that legendary hair.

Perhaps so, in my haste I did not do a diligent three-second Google search.

Veronica Mars seemed so steeped in a very specific environment and culture that once you took the majority of the cast out of that and into college it didn't seem like the same thing anymore. I guess that's a problem when you have a show as specific in its premise as Veronica Mars, or at least when you have a setting

If you're gonna remake Columbo, how much of that character would actually still exist with a new actor playing the role? What makes Columbo unique to the landscape that hasn't been picked up on by modern procedural shows?

So basically a return to the NBC Columbo Movie of the Week format

Also if you like visual novels (but don't have a 3DS) Virtue's Last Reward is amazing.

Hunger Games could be seen as a Westernization of Battle Royale, as well.

My personal favorite (that could be frustrating as well) was the ultra-stylized comic book retelling of the crimes with the exaggerated designs~

Having very little knowledge of Assassination Classroom, I enjoyed the livelier take on Ace Attorney's adventure game trappings.

To be fair, Theon thought he was going to be hot shit when he got home and be able to convince his father to help Robb, but then, whoops, his father's more of an asshole than he remembers and he's shamed into invading the North.

You're describing relief, not satisfaction.

I remember there being a few scenes of them acting all exhausted in the desert, but mostly that season was "WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS?"

I think she showed up on the front doorstep at the end of episode 2 and didn't leave until the end of the season. Remember the "Where are my dragons?!" meme?

So quickly they forget Qarth.

I know someone who's convinced she'll turn into a Hitler-level despot by the end of the series and need to be killed by the (apparently not wholly evil) White Walkers by the end.

Ser Frankenstein is definitely a SJW, in that case.

Sorry, shipping and handling is definitely included.
