Not everything depicted in the show is there for our enjoyment.

In your opinion.

Well where's my autograph book?!

I live in KC and I've seen firsthand people arriving to the hospital out of police vans injured during transit.

Handsome people ;__;

Seriously, Don is depressed because these dalliances and flirtations are empty to him, not because he's not getting attention.

"Did your boyfriend used to be straight?"

I dunno. As a gay guy I don't know that I would've been any happier with Angel.

It's insulting to vanilla, maybe.

I'm trying to come up with examples of that and I'm struggling~

So many people watching a show they obviously take no pleasure in. At least I quit Gotham when I'd had enough!

Mack is sort of a vanilla character right now, though. I mean, he's better than Tripp, but that's damning with faint praise.

I guess if you find the central themes of the show boring I would think you're bored an awful lot by the show.

I don't see how Meereen is boring, since it's getting at some of GoT's central themes of "What makes a good ruler?"

She was pretty solid in Brick, too.

(SPOILERS)
Jack's reaction to Claire being his sister is one of my favorite moments, too. It's like you can pinpoint the moment he starts to lose his mind.

More of a footnote than anything real substantial, although it did allow them to bring back a really great actor and allow the audience to have some context to what essentially amounted to a handful of scenes. Would've been less dramatically impactful if he'd just been some schmoe we hadn't seen before.

Well, the thing is, "anime" as a look can be incredibly broad-ranging.

And that's why you're not a Japanese teenager.

I thought they were fingerless…
