Dark souls 1, yes, black knight sword and some stone knight/havels/giants armor and you sleep walkthrough the game. DS2, DS3, and Bloodborne, no. Most armor is pointless. DeS was actually the last Souls game I beat but I cant comment on the heavy armor cause I did a quick falchion run.

The Surge 1 was good. Never got people’s dislike of it, beat it in 15 hours and never overstayed it’s welcome. Fun game, cool bosses, great dialogue and NPCs.

My advice for people with large backlogs, never play them, just look at them and think about the colossal amount of money you wasted on games you will never get around to playing, and use it as a reminder to be more careful with you money from then on. JMO.

As for my opinion on this controversy, while I think the original blog post was douchy, I'd never even heard of the game before this exclusivity deal, so I think they obviously made the right move and don't see how people can fault them.
