Thank you for this comment; as someone who spent a portion of his legal career directly adverse to your clients, I have to say that this issue is more complicated than this article portrays it as being. While that work was not a comfortable ideological fit for me, as my politics generally would put me on the side of…
This Admin is redefining the term ‘political corruption’ in ways that are so ridiculously flagrant, it’s almost like they know they’ll face no consequences from a knuckle-dragging base of supplicants, a cowed press, and terrified political opponents. Weird, huh?
I don’t know if I agree that the experts quoted in this article support the article’s headline. To me, they seem to be saying, “well, yeah, they are a measure, just one you have to be aware of the limitations of.” We make practical use of many things like this in everyday life where the thing being approximated with…
Progressive taxation. I mean real progressive taxation - like there should be a 90% bracket over say $5 million a year.
You may be right, but the simpler fact is.... why do you care?
BUT MY PRINCIPLES THAT ALLOW ME TO IGNORE HOW GAMES HAVEN’T INCREASED IN PRICE FOR THE BETTER PART OF 2 DECADES BUT DON’T ALLOW ME TO ACCEPT MICRO-TRANSACTIONS!
Aside from the fact that the employees were paying for their own contraception, freedom of religion doesn’t mean getting to impose your religious beliefs onto other people.
Idiot, the lawsuit was over the nuns not wanting to have to sign a fucking form exempting their organization from coverage of birth control. Why? Yeah, all this whining about a dollar here and there is pretty amusing to someone who grew up with ~20 SD cable channels (when we could afford it) that cost $60/month in today’s dollars, watched on a 19" tube that cost $500 in today’s dollars.
Of the 16 shows you mentioned, 4 are HBO which is a different line item (unless it’s a time-based promotion, such as “included in the first year”). So $15 (HBO) for 4 shows.
HOLY SHIT ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
i feel it was a little disingenuous of you to have removed the ‘Sent from my iPhone’ signature at the end of your article
B&W makes excellent headphones, but not especially affordable headphones. Their wired headphones are worth the premium in terms of sound quality and build. I don’t expect sound quality to be quite as good on these since they’re wireless, but if it’s close they’re probably worth the $400.

Nothing new here. Trickle down economics. The whole mindset of trickle down economics explains much of what republicans stand for: only the rich are have proven themselves worthy (by being rich), therefore only the rich matter.
1. Whataboutism is weak argument. Don’t deflect. Is this good behavior or not?
But Russia DID interfere with our election. There’s literally nothing false about that “narrative.”
