I found this background somewhere and can't remember where (might of actually been Lifehacker!). It is my favourite of all time, I have yet to find something I like more.

Your eyes rapidly move so they don't tire, that's why you must stare at one spot.

This has been going around facebook lately. You can do it with any image ([dl.dropbox.com]). Just tiring those color receptors in the back of your eye so they don't work momentarily and thus you see the inverse.

That one part in the first Assassins Creed where you had to jump from pole to pole in the ocean and the stupid context sensitive buttons kept making me jump into the fucking water and die!

This is really old. I was at Stonehenge this past April and on the audio tour they talked about this.

HEY YOU GUYS!

I wouldn't suggest syncing contacts like this as it limits too many things. You can't do custom labels and can only have a few phone numbers/email addresses per person. Also, doing your email this way won't let you have the flagged email thing that's new in IOS5.

Very nicely done. the previous mobile sites sucked. Now I can finally check up on gawker sites without the headache.

A CD burner doesn't burn pits into the plastic layer. There is a chemical in the shiny part of the CD that reacts to a certain type of light which changes it's color. This new color reflects light differently allowing there to be a 1 and 0 attached to each color.
