Meh, 6 weeks is pretty minor. Hardly a major delay.
The “modern day stuff” has been an afterthought since AC3. It’s been a bit better since Origins, but still felt kind of tacked on and I just wasn’t invested in that anymore. While I once really enjoyed it (It was really good in Brotherhood), I have to say I’m glad they’re just ditching it now.
I think you’re right. My main gripes are the coloring system only applying to single cores and that I want to be rewarded XP for just playing well, even if I’m not doing a challenge. I only really want to play Team Slayer and not only can I not play just that, but unless I happen to get a challenge I can complete in…
Bummer to see Dave “Fargo” Kosak tied up in all this. Was always a fan of him back in his editorial days at GameSpy and his Flintlocke series
I thought it was a great game.
Pretty sure you can’t play games off a disc anymore (even in the current generation). Disc speeds are far too slow even compared to a HDD. The only benefit of the disc is you don’t need to download the game before playing, but since most games have day one patches now-a-days, you’re still going to have to download…
Yup, ditto here. I’m in that age bracket and the last CoD I played was MW3. After that, things got too twitchy and formulaic for me and I couldn’t keep up with the kids who were just faster than me and had more time to play than I did. I’m very much enjoying this new MW as it really reminds me of the days when CoD4…
So I’m not much of a JRPG fan. I used to enjoy them a lot when I was kid, but have gotten a little impatient with them as I grew older. I think I want to give one another go though, but it has to be on the Switch. I’ve been eyeing both Ni no Kuni and Dragon Quest 11.
I got the 1/144 scale model for Christmas last year and it doesn’t come painted. They also sell the lighting for it separately for that one.
This is definitely a weird one.
Or not buy textbooks at all. After a few years of buying used textbooks and then barely using them (protip: learn early on what parts you actually *have* to read), I said screw it, bought a tablet and just found .pdf versions of all my textbooks online.
I haven’t played WoW in years, but I was really into it back in High School.
I’ve made sure to keep my screen shots folder, moving it from PC to PC. Every now and then I open it and just go through the pictures, remembering the glory days.
The guest artist at PA is Tavis Maiden, not Travis.
My understanding for the size difference was that TIE fighters don’t have a hyper drive.
It’ll keep you warm during those cold, post-apocalyptic desert nights!
Now I just need this for Windows 10!
The Blue Ranger always was my favourite.
Finally getting around to Skyward Sword. So far so good, much prefer the sword play in this one compared to Twilight Princess waggling. That said, I think I would still prefer a button.
But...you're on the internet...and it's not April 1st yet...I CALL SHENANIGANS!
