@pauljones: I'm with ya on this. Although, to be fair, I would have loved to see a fresh America-fuck-yeah take on the LED's, rather than the nearly identical audi look.. I mean its even got the drop-down outer edges.

@DonnaDixonLine: I think it boils down to whatever you started with, and what you're doing, and preference. I mean, I can rough sketch complete ideas in cad faster than SW.. but.. once I have that idea roughed out, I can blast it on the first time in SW. Dunno! Its like a playdoh model before clay.

As someone who rocks a powerful non-mac computer for Solidworks use at work.. this doesn't concern me. However, I use AutoCAD exclusively for blasting out quick ideas in 2d.. and I use an iPhone and have access to an iPad..
