I would wager that these people have innately addicting personalities. ANYTHING can be addicting - it doesn't mean that the thing that is addicted to is what is causing it.

People say gambling is addicting - but a social act with no biological traits of its own cannot possibly be "addicting" in its own right.

Knowing many people that smoke I can't believe how ignorant that statement was.

You group in burn outs with the other large population of recreational drug users. Knowing people that smoke occasionally - and can easily go weeks without it...yeah. Totally not addictive.

With the industry entering a new fiscal year it will probably be more difficult for them now than if the studio closed 2 months from now.

Shall we delve back to the N64? It took a good year to get titles out. how about the 360? Oh...same. People call "dead console" Same with PS3.
Notice a pattern?
Let the first party apps come out and we'll see what is where.

APRIL FOOLS DAY WAS MONDAY. THIS. ISN'T. FUNNY.

Ash's voice is really grinding my gears.

As much as many of us want these games - they have to also poll the people that don't inundate them with requests. We get games late because all-in-all the games would be bought by a relatively low portion of the populous, despite it appearing that it would be an all out success the number of sales beyond those asking

You are blaming the designers, when it is the execs that dictate what gets made.

Game list isn't bad - but already owning all of said games makes me a sad panda.

You just didn't know any better until D3.

So they care enough to have their costumes made for them...but can't find a single person in the whole country who can craft even a shoddy version of the weapons?

Until the cruelty of the internet turns him into a shut in.

The melee hit towards the end looks like they just swapped models.

This is obviously a Halo 3 reskin. I'm not sure where all this CoD and BF talk is coming from.

Even a skin takes time. There is an order it has to be approved in, a pipeline it has to go through, and QA it needs to pass. It might take 2 weeks per skin to get into game, tested, and approved. MIGHT. While it seems like it SHOULD be easy...it never is.

I work for an MMO company. I'm just saying - saying that $1-3 for something you don't need that doesn't advance your game in any way "isn't worth their time," is many kinds of ignorant. Everyone should be paid for their work, and even if you don't agree with the content - those that it is geared towards are more than

Forgot to add this though: They aren't selling POWERFUL WEAPONS - they're selling different colors to put on your gun. Big difference.

I fail to see how this is a business practice exploited SOLELY by game developers.

I'm sure based on the direction they are going it would be difficult to fight claiming parody. They'll just go "lul do it!" and then bitch about how Nintendo is an evil company for protecting their IP.

But that is what they bought. As far as I know that was not part of the deal advertised with Elite.
