So you are saying that their continued work on the product is worth no amount of remuneration?
Any faith that had to be placed was to be placed in Maxis - so there was no other "option" for who to have faith in. You won't find a company out there (worth their salt) that would ship a broken game and then shrug and walk away. If they make a product that doesn't work and basically say screw you - you'll never…
Because it took someone 4 minutes to make them. How naive you are if you think the game industry art pipeline is that simple. It took time to add the system in place (by highly paid engineers), it takes time to conceptualize the art, time to make it, review, QA, tweak.
Let's not also forget: Much like Reddit...nobody seems to give a shit. 4chan/Reddit have record breaking authority issues.
I was all "oh man SimCity is down? I guess I'll play Metal Gear Rising, Tomb Raider, Dead Space 3, FFXIV:ARR beta..." and the list goes on.
Working for the game industry I know that "things happen." I know they aren't just sitting on their hands - not for my sake - but because they need to get it fixed.
It is really hard to have a screenshot of a FPS that doesn't look generic. The separation comes in gameplay.
I was affected and still had confidence in them.
Like PCs, there is a larger amount of people that would pay a higher amount than you think.
This is exactly how I've been playing it. I don't mind the $30 I spent - not one single bit.
Am I the only one that feels like the crappy AI and weird guns are what make the game good? I'm a random marine - what makes me any better than the others (in the movie) that died before me?
As far as I've seen from my 2 sony phones that have had it - they have maybe 8 titles out. Things like Crash - Jet Moto - and a few other titles...no final fantasies though :(
I did it simply to make sure he wouldn't come back >.>
I bought mine from $27 on green man gaming - so barely any harm any foul. Kotaku does seem to like to blow the doors of their questionable YES/NO reviews. I disagree with 9/10 of them - and after my game finishing installing on my work PC I'll be able to see for real how this all plays out.
They are a cross buy system - but the games aren't what you'd expect. It isn't full of PS1 ports and PSP games. They are very moble-ish titles.
Demo doesn't hold a candle to the full game...seriously. I got zero sleep because I simply couldn't put the game down.
At this rate I'd hardly want it -_- I've played on the JP servers for quite a while, but man oh man...it sure does feel dated at this point.

I do find it very odd that while they sell Android tablets as gaming devices...they only accept trade ins of Apple products. Somewhere along the line you'd think they'd take things such as Android Tablets, or phones with game pads (the xperia play).
