If we’re having really big parties we rent kegs instead of buying a bunch of bottles or cans. Thus, we need the solo cups. If it’s just a small get-together or a medium-sized party we just get bottles or cans and forget the solo cups, unless we’re playing beer pong, in which case we still need some solo cups.

If you pour the beer correctly there won’t be much foam. Plus you usually aren’t worried about being spot on when pouring beer
