Yes, and we would have never had to have this argument had the Rams simply said they supported their players and left it at that. The Rams did not have to dignify the association with even answering their call, let alone leaving some ambiguous statement that allowed the association to (maybe?) twist the Rams' words.

This. There was no reason for the Ram's front office to entertain anything the police association had to say. Support your players on what was a completely legal expression of their First Amendment rights, and leave it at that. Trolls gonna troll; there was no reason the Rams had to respond to anything the police

This. They are trying to serve two masters, and in the end served neither of them admirably.

Britt was the only player involved in the on-field, pre-game protest, right?

The Rams front office should have simply said "we support our players expressing their views" and left it at that. There was no reason for the Rams to have contacted the police troll union for ANY reason, which makes me think Demoff is lying.

Or, you know, support their players when they do nothing wrong. Yes, the organization does need to take sides, here, and they need to take the side of their players and leave it at that, and let law enforcement sit there and spin on the sticks up their asses over this. It's not that hard.

This. The responses have been VERY telling. This is the hill they've chosen to die on, right out in the open, this time.

He's gotten 52 stars out of this upon my posting of this. You trolls get one and two likes. Deal with it, fuckers.

This. Demoff is saving his own ass, not the other way around, and it's really fucking shameful, but I kind of expected the Rams to fold on this.

I don't believe the Rams. I don't. It seems obvious to me that there was some kind of apology of some level delivered and now they want to walk it back.

And, quite frankly, this is not a rare set-up for this country. That this happened in Ferguson isn't totally surprising, but Ferguson is not even that particularly violent or crime-ridden. Imagine the kind of relationship the police have with residents in far more violent jurisdictions with real serious crime

I just want to make it very clear before conservatives or neo-liberals try this divide-and-conquer bull, that I'm not even against the idea of unionism in the public sector, in general. It's just that police unions seem to be particularly/uniquely horrible.

It's good to see that you don't realize when you've been outmatched and know when to fucking quit. lol

And, yet, whenever Republicans go after unions with right-to-work and collective bargaining bullshit, they usually carve out police unions from retribution. That should really tell you whose side they are on.

STFU, retard.

Half Venezuelan, you say? So, the other half is Retarded, right?

If they followed it closely, you ask? Pretty fuckin' racist.

The "good ones", right? GTFO, dear.

You are absolutely adorable. Oh, and fucking disingenous.

The butthurt is strong with these trolls. There is no enough Preperation H in the world...
