I clicked on the article just to read the comments. I wonder how many other readers came here just to do the same thing. Jalopnik has become very annoying. Maybe 1 out of every 10 articles is actually jalopnik grade material. The rest are click-trash.

As a former lawn guy, I cringe. But as a lover of freedom, (and knowing that, yes, lawns are repairable) you should do whatever you can reasonably get away with doing. If your landlord is alright with it then why would it matter?
