Nice concept. However, to me, the eye screws on the end of the top piece tends to kill the simple aesthetics. I suggest eliminating the eye screws by drilling a small diagonal hole thru from the top (about 1" form the end) to the side of top piece, then thread the wire/cord thru the hole with a double knot (or other…
