Also - not that I’ve ever done this, but writing emails the day before and then setting them to send throughout the morning (via boomerang or just hitting send on your phone) makes it seem like you are working and productive.

Those types really hate cyclists too. I did a lot of road riding in Alberta - Canadas midwest-Texas hybrid - and you’d always get coal rolled once they passed you. You’d hear them coming from a ways back, so you’d move over because you knew they’d crowd you, and once they’re even they’d let loose with the black sooty…

I think they assume the Prius guys are gay and deep down they want to have sex with them and they blame the Prius guys for tempting them.....

They are not ‘threatened’ by Priuses, they are irritated by the sanctimonius, holier than thou attitude of some Prius owners. They feel that it is their god given right to counter this sanctimony with obnoxiousness.

“We’re a country of laws” but not THAT law. I don’t like that one. 

They fear (only partially irrationally) that they’ll be forced to drive a prius/tesla/etc and not their desired vehicle in the future. While this is generally irrational, see also all the Tesla bros that rip on people for buying anything BUT a tesla, so the group of people that would actually desire to force them to…

I saw an F-150 with a decal near its tailpipe that said “Prius Repellant”. These are big strong men with itty bitty dicks.

I think they’re just too stupid to understand science, so they push back against it because they feel threatened. Polluting becomes akin to a comfort food for them, as does insulting Prius/Tesla/EV drivers for caring about the environment.

Never in my life have I understood why the big truck bros are so threatened by teslas and Priuses and clean air that they feel the need to “roll coal”. Honestly, it’s just awful bully behavior emblematic of pretty much everything wrong with our divided nation right now.

Lol I worked as a video editor on their tv show and they’d boast about how they sold trucks with the filter bypassed. Happy they finally got caught but it’s too bad they’ll get away with all the racist trash they say...

I think they should fine The Discovery Channel one billion dollars for making terrible television and being such a failure to humanity.

Gets better. Here is a news broadcast from earlier today - where they point to a component and say it’s easy to bypass, and improves performance.  They also feel targeted since they claim not to do it anymore.

Makes completely no sense how they built a business that way.
