Escalade, interesting.
I would’ve guessed Hilux.

That was my grandpa.
Had nothing but LeSabres since he moved to the US in the 50s. It was a sign “he made it.”
Even, perplexingly, the late 90s LeSabres which were bubbliciously terrible.

That’s my 2nd answer.
Because they want to “sit high” and see everything. (eyeroll)

Toyota. Hands down.
Their reputation precedes them.
The majority public don’t care about cars. They need a toaster to get from A to B. Toyota had fantastic reliability in the 90s and early ‘00s.
So when these people need a car, all their friends and family (who also don’t care about cars) tell them to get a Toyota. And

Agreed.
My old Hemi Charger cost me “maybe” $4,000 in upkeep in 10 years.
But by year 12? Heh.....that’s when I started rebuilding the whole front suspension, part by part. (Trade-in time)

They are choosing to leave out the optional “panel realignment” and “gasket re-glue” on the Tesla by a 3rd party.

Right, it wasn’t frequency of repair, just cost.

1. What’s its recharge time from 20-80%?
2. Does it feel well made? Any launch bugs?
3. How does the new chassis handle with the excess weight?

Indoobitably!

The $upreme Leader is dead.
All hail the $upreme Leader!

That’s funny.
I usually hear it’s the fuckin’ opposite.

I think people need to remember, they often have the legal right to dissolve their own HOA. They just need 2/3 to 3/4 of the neighborhood to vote on it.

As a former Millennial HOA President (crazy I know!)(Yes I was the youngest on the board), I have some thoughts.

I have high hopes for this.
Chrysler is in dire need of anything new.

I have a Grand Cherokee 4xe, and I’m really surprised how it drives on that Giulia platform.
It drives great!
Very responsive chassis, comfortable, holds corners well for a tall SUV.
Versatile with the gas or hybrid layout.

I just hear it’s “inefficient” on the weight side.

Buick had a pretty nice looking convertible right when the Sebring/200 convertible went out.
But it hardly sold.
Now the only convertibles seem to be from ultra-luxury brands.

I’ve looked into them a few times, and after adding up the micro-transactions on things I’d like part of my flight, I’m now within 10-20$ of a flight on AA, where I can get a recline seat, and AAdvantage miles anyway.
Pass.
PS. Walking through L concourse at O’Hare where Spirit is, is like walking through an open

The lot rot is going to be insane.
I would demand all new tires and full fluid flushes before taking one of those. FYI.

Apparently not since there are now recalls from all brands left and right.
BUT, here’s some perspective. Apparently, our current rate of recalls is somehow LESS than back in 2016?
Was I asleep back then? IDK.
But right now even Toyota, Honda, BMW are racking up recalls.
Ford/Stellantis still in the lead.

Especially when they (aka Elon) will try to decommission NHTSA?
No way, no thanks. I don’t want a car built under that dept. missing.
