Zach. I do agree with many points you make, but that episode was horrible. I binged some of the first season to get psyched for tonight's premiere. Almost nothing worked at all in "My Struggle."

Joshua's right about the politics of the show, but is a lot more forgiving for Homeland's ridiculousness in last night's episode than I am. Saul would never leave a terrified suspect alone in a room full of glass and whatnot, and neither would the Germans.

This season has been so much more consistent that the first. The stand alone stories have been working really well and have been far more interesting as the serialized aspects continue to unfold. I can't wait for what comes next.

About the alien stuff. Back in the 70's, Chariots of the Gods, written by Erich Von Daniken was pretty popular at the time.
