I can't say I completely relate either Buckeyenative01 but in regards to your brother, I can sympathize to a degree. One day a teacher called my Grandmother to report I wasn't smiling. Oh and then one year the school put me in speech therapy because I wasn't eating lunch because school lunch is shit.

I just…………..I want to bludgeon her in the face. How someone could be that crass and smug in the face of someone's needs and still hold a formal position of employment, I am incredulous and I am angry. That is a toxic learning environment that no one should be subjected to. This is precisely why I have misanthropic

Dude I am so sorry. My IEP meetings were always so awkward. I gotta say, I freaking LOVED this pilot. I was born with Cerebral Palsy, and from the moment J.J. flipped off the two guys staring at him I knew this show got it. Finally a show that gives a dignified and human representation of disability. The classroom scene where J.J. was called an inspiration made me cringe so

"I just hope this show properly portrays special education. I want to see a TV show demonstrate the hell that is a contentious IEP meeting."
