Well, someone had to build a decent Defender replacement for the next few decades, since JLR didn't.
Pretty sure Ford bought Land Rover from the Germans and sold it to the Indians.
Toyota XRunner, an off-roader beyond the 4Runner.
Rre: kinja issues. Just theusllu sorry, theusual, sorry, the usual issues like jamming words together, changing where I’mI’m typing to the middle of the word I’m typing, not counting the first letter of a paragraph for some reason, and doubling words when I click on them to change what autocorrect…
Are those 6 guys going to help push when the truck high-centers on something?
What?! Crew cabs are popular? Wow. If only I had stipulated that in my comment, maybe nobody would’ve had to come correct me. Gosh darn it.
Rumor has it that Ford is planning a pickup version of the Bronco to compete with Gladiator. It will be more off-road focused, and cost more, than Ranger. It, like the Gladiator, would be styled like the Bronco, and feature removable top/doors. The Ram Dakota is likely to mimic the Ram 1500, like the Colorado/Canyon…
This may come as a surprise, but some people use their sporty vehicles as a daily driver, including in adverse weather.
Yeah, I did, and it sure does suck that people like cars you dont. Every vehicle you/he dont like is “pointless”, eh?
Because a sedan with the same powertrain would be so much better on the environment?
Meh. Looks like an autonomous futuristic transportation pod that we will be forced to use after “human-controlled” vehicles are regulated out of existence. I really hope I dont live to see that day. Either that, or I’m rich enough to own enough private property so that I can still enjoy my vehicles.
Yeah, not sure where he’s getting that. Pretty sure the only Ford with that setup was the Aerostar. However, the (otherwise unibody) Transit has a rear frame welded to it when ordered as a chassis cab or cutaway cab.
You might be sure, but the fact is, it can tow 1,000-1500 lbs less than a BOF SUV. BOF vehicles are generally more durable and easier to modify, however little the latter applies to this vehicle.
well, RAM did update theirs and got rid of the crosshairs. Unfortunately, the rest of the facelift didnt make it.
Point taken, but it's still a disappointment to those expecting a more truck-like vehicle.
Just like the Freelander. People liked the Defender because it was a basic, bare-bones work truck at its core. The new one is a Discovery Sport with different styling.
