I would absolutely love to see this here as a Toyota (not a pretentious, ugly, overpriced Lexus). I say just call it the Toyota Prado.

Absolutely right, which is why I'm planning on a two-door Bronco.
Hey, professor, Kia makes body-on-frame vehicles, too. This just isnt one of them. Class dismissed.
So, your point is that GM makes money selling BOF SUVs, which you compare to a different brand’s unibody crossover, which they also make. Are you going to compare the Wrangler to the Kona, next? Makes just as much sense.
Exactly, this does not compare to the Tahoe, it’s in a completely different class. This is a front-wheel-drive crossover that cant tow or haul as much. Maybe the mommy crowd could cross-shop them, but I seriously doubt that.
HOW DARE you bring common sense to this argument! This is plain old good American car bashing at its finest, like how the Hyundai Elantra Sport is so much cheaper than a Mustang GT. Who cares if they're completely different?
Yep, its SO much cheaper than the Americans, except it’s $2k more than the Traverse to start with.
I saw 3 Chevy SSRs a few weeks ago. Not all in the same area, either. Defies the laws of nature.
I drove my uncle’s International dump truck, and a couple of his log trucks, but the dump truck was the only one on the road.
I had to stop a lady the other day from putting diesel in her VW Atlas (she might have figured it out when trying to insert the nozzle, but I said something before she got the chance).
Yes, I do believe the XJ Cherokee was built like that (along with the Ford Aerostar, incidentally).
Yeah, they couldn't have removed the entire car, but they could've robbed the fuel line and gasoline from it. I'm sure 1950s Doc could've found a fuel line to replace it.
Unbelievable. I cant believe that Kevin neglected to tell this guy that the car is a FUCKING 1970 WITH 700 HP, AND ISNT AS SAFE AS A 2019! Yes, I’m being sarcastic. Kevin should countersue for this fool fucking up his vehicle, and donate the money to charity.
What?! Manual transmission available only on the base engine? But they only started that recently to keep enthusiasts from buying millions of manual cars per year! It has nothing to do with the low take-rate.
“...if they catch you driving your dung-burning, steam-powered Ford Aerostar or whatever.”
I want one.
Because it allows them to feel superior.
Helps to have a conveniently placed cliff behind it.
Where's a 1997 Malibu when you need one?
I like it more than the VW, but less than the Alfa Romeo posted in this thread.
