I absolutely have and will again. But, someone has to be obviously drunk and/or reckless. I’m not going to call on someone going 6 mph over just because I dont like his vehicle or something. It really has to be something quite bad/dangerous.

To truly be authentic, theyd have to obnoxiously cover it in one picture, then leave it perfectly legible in another.
Perhaps you should look up the word trendy. A trend, in this case, would be traditional BOF SUVs migrating to unibody platforms, as has been a happening quite a bit in the past decade or so, often with a loss of capabilities. Trendy does not mean that as soon as something is invented, it becomes a trend. You called…
If they want to appeal to genuine enthusiasts, they do. There are many who buy trucks and SUVs and extensively modify them from brand new. Now, go on with your diarrhea-of-the-mouth about how NOBODY uses their SUV off-road. All you’re doing is making my point for me. Even if a new Wrangler or Raptor or Land Cruiser…
Explain away all you like, it takes nothing away from my point, and only serves to weaken your already “it’s better because British" position.
XJs didnt have four wheel independent suspension.
That must be why it is far more popular than the Wrangler for serious off-roaders, and continues to sell very well to this day. Probably why they discontinued the Wrangler back in the 2000s.
So it has been a trend since 1934 to build utility vehicles in this manner? Or are you simply being an obtuse asshole because you wish what I (and others) have said wasnt true?
Yeah, it’s a shame how drugs can totally take over someone’s life like that.
It is quite beautiful. I wouldnt want it as my only car, but it’d be a fun cruiser.
Havent seen anyone questioning their capabilities as unibody utility vehicles, but plenty of people are still lamenting the fact that its migrated to a trendy unibody platform that has watered down what the name stood for for decades.
Mike, count me in as disappointed as well. Crossovers have their place, I drive one every day, but I will be buying a BOF SUV with real capability. No, a Land Rover was probably not going to be on my list, however I was excited about it until now.
The van is fugly, but I like the Ramcharger. I had a '72 Tradesman 200 for a while, complete with shag carpet.
Kia has and does build trucks, but granted, not the same kinds of trucks you’re talking about.
I despise wheel covers. If I’m going to roll steelies, a tasteful center cap and chrome trim rings will do nicely.
If I had a Niva, I wouldnt be looking for waves, but I’d definitely be looking for some place fun to get a little mud on the fenders.
Damn, that hurt. Cant say I’ve had anything similar, thank God.
That’s probably why luxury vehicles aren’t marketed with the expectation that “the majority of the country” will buy them over a mainstream product.
Wow. What a big surprise. This turned into a GWB hater circle jerk. Stupid president, trying to keep the economy from crashing! Overreacting to the first attack on the mainland that killed ~3000 people! The NERVE of that guy. What we needed was a pansy ass Al Gore who would’ve apologized to bin Laden for the loss of…
Sad. It’s a very capable crossover, which is still a crossover.
