I’ve seen the Rolling Stone piece. It certainly does not say, as you claim, that many Daily Show viewers had expected to take over for Jon Stewart. What it actually says is that many viewers expected Samantha Bee to take over.

Oh for God’s sake! There’s no such thing as a “forward slash”. There’s slash and there’s backslash.

Words mean things. There are rules. This isn’t ‘Nam.
