What I never understood throughout this whole situation is how the NHL or the Coyotes were upset over an NHL player winning the fan vote. The fans voted and the guy won it. The All Star Game is mainly for the fans, that is why the fans vote. Now to try and get John Scott out of the ASG, his family has been displaced

I have the same feeling about hockey. Grew up loving the game, playing the informal, pick-up version — street hockey, backyard rinks, even the odd frozen pond — though never any organized version, for which I’m now grateful.

My brother got drafted to the NFL but chose to leave after an injury before he ever saw playing time (he had a really bad experience with a strength trainer on his college team, basically they don’t care about making you healthy, they just want you good enough to get back out on the field) and I’m thankful every day.

I love football, but have a harder and harder time just vegging out and watching it like a big dumb baby than I used to the more and more this information comes out. You watch a guy like Antonio Brown go ragdoll from a helmet hit, and it’s hard to ignore the CTE elephant in the room.

ITS SO HARD FOR WHITE PEOPLE OMIGODDDD

Maybe if they were playing in a city that was located near active government agencies. But they’re playing in DC.

I would hope not.

I don’t know anything about Gainesville cops. But I have worked with a lot of police departments in my previous job. And I’ll say that culture of the department is EVERYTHING. Some departments were just awesome and really engaged in the community and all about treatment for people with drug problems when it came

Maybe he was the misfit cop who really wanted to be a dentist.

No surprise—there hasn’t been a Cup in Edmonton in 25 years.

C’est l’heure de se retirer votre agent, n’est-ce pas?

That must be the most infuriated she’s been in all her 4 years as a Seahawks fan.

Did anyone ever think that Howie Long would have kids who are fun? Seriously, how did this happen?

Having sympathy for St Louis sports fans sure is a bizarre sensation.

Reporter: “Lots of Raiders fans will be happy you’re staying.”
Davis: “Where?”
Reporter: “In Oakland”
Davis: “Are we?”
Reporter: “Yes, the vote came in and the Rams and the Chargers plan was approved.”
Davis: “What plan?”
Reporter: “For....the stadium....In LA.”
Davis: “I like turtles.”

This is just some thinking out loud, but what happens if Jayron Kearse tried to throw his hand up and call for a fair catch? I know he was too far to get to it, but since Griffith kicked it straight up in the air, they would’ve had to let the ball hit the ground first before they could touch it in that case, right?

That picture shows that when his hand was down, the nose of the ball and the butt of the ball, were across the line.

Nah, that’s their provost.

Id rather see the NFLPA stand up for players like Brown...
