I find it's increasingly challenging for me to phrase my question or think of keywords based on "how most other people would describe it". It reminds me of the "find the magic word" text-based adventure games of the 80's.

Also, to get students to print less simply add a print-limit... It works pretty well here in Sweden. Having an option to buy more prints (for real money) is a great complement for those times you REALLY need to print a few more pages.

Sadly this is far from practical. With iPads and Kindles I think it's better to put time into convenient ways of getting material readable on it. Such as Instapaper or ReadItLater. I'd much rather see some standard for how webpages could achieve a "e-printable" version with ease, than a new file format that no one is…
