That I-Beam suspension is great for pre-runner stuff. I wanted to do something like this to my 89 F-150; 2wd, 5 speed and a 302. My pockets were too shallow for what my dreams called for. All I ended up doing was putting stiffer F-250 springs in the front to get rid of the sagging front end and upgraded to Rancho

My 190E is my favorite car in Forza to use. It handles so damn well, although there’s plenty of cars faster, its just so damn satisfying to drive.

My reaction is due to my personal experience with not being in a position where I am driving lots of miles daily. I live in a small town of ~10,000 people and I only have a 10 min drive to get to school and other than that, I rarely drive more than 150 miles a week.

I was thinking the same thing. That’s a 9 year old car with almost 200K? That means whoever’s been driving it has been putting like 22K a year on it. That’s some serious road-tripping.

From a movie by the Coen brothers called The Big Lebowski, starring Jeff Bridges. That photo is of a group that the main character has a few run-ins with. They are a group of German nihilists.

I knew I would get at least one right if I kept guessing Rover on all the ones that looked like Honda. Should have taken it as a clue that Rover Group was also the umbrella company for a lot of other British auto makers. I didn’t realize Triumph also rebadged some Hondas.

In my humble opinion, this is the prime age of American sports cars. Although I’m sure the reputation of US manufacturers and the hot-rod, muscle car stigma is still prevalent throughout Europe. You can’t argue against Chevrolet and Ford finally introducing some vehicles style- and performance-wise that actually stand

Well, from another post I was reading yesterday it seems that because a car depreciates you are usually selling it at a loss. In that regard, the IRS doesn’t consider that taxable income because technically you didn’t really make any money because you spent more initially than the sale of the used vehicle.

Yeah, and the jalapenos are also pickled, which sorta necessitates them being stored in a brine.....

I’m putting together an essay for my world regional geography class about the rising middle class and the automobile boom that has happened and will continue to happen. I was trying to figure out a direction to go in because the instructor just gave us the region of East Asia to choose a location and then narrow down

What format are we talking here? MLA, APA, Chicago?

I like the euphemism I learned from Top Gear: Cheslea Tractor. There’ s some good definitions on Urban Dictionary.

Mmmmmm.... premix

I wholeheartedly agree. I maintain that if it were not for the traction control on my 2014 Corolla, I would have ended up in a lot more trouble than just having a front tire slightly enter a ditch on the side of the road after hydroplaning and losing control for a few seconds.

I’m not a Jeep guy but I do like to learn about different suspension technologies and designs.

I didn't realize so many people corrected you on that so now I feel like a douche bag. My apologies.

Looked like a much newer Wrangler. They have been using Quadra-Link coil suspension since the TJ model of the mid-90s.

I learned first hand the value of being very generous to your servers and bartenders, especially at places you frequent quite often. This guy I met in one of my classes, who is now a good friend of mine, invited me to go to this smokehouse that had a pretty decent bar after class one day. As soon as he walks in,
