A lot of them are comparing their reaction to abuse to hers. Because Amber isn’t acting like they did, she’s clearly a liar.

It’s the notion of the perfect victim. They see themselves as perfect victims, so anyone who acts differently can’t be a real victim of abuse. Women are expected to act a certain way, not fight back, cry a certain way, be contrite and essentially cower before their abuser to classify as a victim or to be believed.

It is disturbing or ironic that the surprisingly toxic attackers are women TikTok/YouTuber. I ‘m not surprised by misogynistic guys (even Donald Trump sided Depp’s side) but really? Do Depp women followers understand they’re attacking a woman’s group? Does that those mean their “belief” of MeToo was performative to

yes! so true! so many women defending him because (allegedly) they were abuse victims (OK that’s terrible) BUT somehow that motivates them to defend him to stand up for the forgotten victims of domestic abuse—men. I know both things are true but it’s the connection between the two that loses me.

I can’t stand all the “Depp is such a gentle soul” bullshit while ignoring all his years of problematic and violent behavior.

I just posted something similar. But I’m more horrified with the number of women that are a part of Depp’s rabid defenders. No matter how faithful you are to him, he’s not going to fuck you either ladies.

It’s so unbelievably depressing how many women are Depp supporters attacking other women.

for the hundredth time...what is it about Johnny Depp that incites this kind of absolutely feral psychotic response? I have had so many encounters with these whackos for merely stating that maybe he’s guilty because a UK court found it “substantially likely” he beat her, and HOLY SHIT you’d think I called him a

Nope. Stacey Dash made that comment about Maxine Waters because she was looking for approval from Fox and the white gaze in general. She later back tracked after I wrote a scathing post about her.

“They told Good Morning America that they arrived at the store at around 4:35 p.m. for a 4:45 p.m. meeting with local businessman Andrew Yaffe. Call logs show that the Starbucks employee called 911 at 4:37 p.m.”

This morning, after walking my dog, I went back outside, popped open the trunk of my car and removed some workout
