LEWIS. For 1 explicit reason, the town I grew up in had a road called Old Dog Road, and a family bought a few acres outside of town, built a mansion, and then petitioned the city to have it renamed because they didn’t want the embarrassment of having to have an address with “Old Dog” in the name. So instead it got

Moore/South OKC here. Just lost power for an hour during the rolling blackout and we are being warned we might lose Natural Gas due to the wellheads freezing up. And of course our governor told everyone to turn down our heaters to 65 (it was -7 out when I woke up) while he was on a ski trip in Sante Fe. Oh, and this

OU is University of Oklahoma, not Oklahoma University...

In case this post isn’t in jest, parking brake cables have been known to get rusty if not used. Then if a mechanic or someone uses it, it might stick and lock in place, or only partially stick and burn up going down the highway.

When I bought my Forester 2 years ago, I made the mistake of answering the questions honestly (mostly 7-9s) and the salesman called me up and chewed me out. Its not my fault that their testing methodologies are completely wrong. Now I drive across the city to the other dealership for any service. I just don’t trust

I am surprised that no one has brought up that requiring a tax (or fee to process documentation) is unconstitutional. The 24th Amendment was passed to solve this very situation. If IDs were at no cost and no taxes were involved during the required process (so no tax on bus ticket, gas, postage, etc.) then it possibly

OKC Murrah Building bombing. I was about 9 at the time and OKC was about an hour drive from my town. I remember learning about it on the bus ride home like it was a rumor or gossip as it happened while we were all in school. Got home to find my Mom watching coverage of it on the local news.

Now that OnCue stations are popping up around OKC, its easy enough to make 93 e10 from e85 and 91 no-ethanol. The loss in gas mileage is still way cheaper than 93 no-ethanol.

I wasn’t providing the link as definitive proof, but to point out that it has been studied and the results show that on average it is harder for women to learn to do a pull up than it is for men; that it is not just a myth. This is true all across the fitness spectrum, how your individual body is proportioned makes

Actually, yeah that's been studied.

Motorcycle:

I would assume it depends on the state. In Oklahoma we can have an AND title or and AND/OR title. If it is the first, both have to sign.

I have a mechanical engineering degree and work as an electrical, so I understand what/how it could happen, it was just scary the first time it happened. I had just pulled up to stop for a passing train. I rolled up the windows and turned on the AC and it all went down. So I was stuck in traffic, no turn signals,

I love my s60R... when it is working. Worst thing to happen to me was having to drive from Tennessee to Oklahoma mostly disabled because I let the battery run down a bit while setting up my campsite. After disconnecting/reconnecting the battery I got gauges back, but all the safety systems (and suspension too I

And hope the problem isn't software related. I am looking at you, Volvo. Bought and upgraded the parts for the tranny myself for about $30. $150 for Volvo to install the correct software so the tranny won't grenade itself (with or without the new part).

We call it Cruiser Bruiser, also Dodge Ram (ram them with your head)

I don't think it is so much about the top speed capabilities, but the amount of and weight of the gear. The reason the police are getting bigger vehicles is to carry all the equipment. A lot of it has to do with anti-terrorism gear if memory serves me right, but I can't remember where I heard it. I think TGUSA. I

I would go ahead and specify I-40. Anything east of OKC and it feels like you are driving with a flat tire until you get to Arkansas.

2004 s60R owner here. These shocks are actually Monroe C2501 or C2502 shocks. They seem to be only 265 bucks on Amazon, but back up in the $400-600 range everywhere else.

A solid axle car isn't actually a single axle, but two shafts rotating around gears that allow them to spin at different speeds.  Welding the right gears basically turns it into a single axle, making both tires to spin a the same speed always.
