Who the hell buys 2 SLS’s?

Fuck fees.

The GM automatic transmission kills any excitement for me. Dual clutch, maybe... Manual clutch, sequential shifter, hells yes!

Lynd & Roger, or Thelma & Louise?

Ford needs to get on the small diesel train

Fuck yeah!

Not as much heresy as 300+ hp FWD. Having owned a classic (1988) 4 door 900 I know they turn like shit without major suspension work.

Those cars are gorgeous! If it was me, I’d convert the race car to RWD, just to see how a classic 900 could handle it. I mean, the engine is already longitudinal...

If one buys a 308 or 328 thinking it’s gonna be fast, they’re an idiot. I would love to buy one that doesn’t run, swap the engine for a low maintenance modern twin turbo V6, and have a poor man’s 288 GTO.

Then you’d have an Audi A7 knockoff design with FWD making 400+ hp. Doesn’t sound fun. At all.

40K for a 15 year old car based on a 25 year old design, that can hardly go around a corner? Nope. I’d rather get a new Chevy SS.

What’s the main POV car? Looks like some SEAT hot hatch, but it has a slushbox? Where is the world coming to? Great slide recovery either way.

Coke pipe. If it had an good engine like a modern GM or Ford V8, or a Porsche flat 6, then we’d be talking.

You can’t get a car certified in the 1st world without a shit-ton of systems that add weight and complexity. I wish we could buy cheap fun cars with shitty crash rating. You can mandate a fuel tank that won’t explode and a catalytic converter, but don’t mandate ABS, TC, backup camera, side impact beams, airbags, etc.

Maybe this is sacrilege, but I’d be totally OK with ripping the Ferrari engine out, and putting a modern 400Hp twin turbo V6 in its place, and make it as fast as it looks. Kind of like a cheap 288GTO. Then again, the chassis may not be up to the task.

I’m so glad I picked the Suzuki tu250x for my MSF class. Super nimble and comfy.

Last year I test drove the Charger version of this car. Loved everything about it, except I really wanted a manual transmission. Would pretty much be the perfect car if it had one.

Your shitty attitude is why I feel like we have to give extra praise to manuals. Don’t call someone an idiot for following their heart.

Your point makes no sense. AWD cars that get praise here would otherwise be FWD. A Focus RS isn’t AWD *just* to go faster, it would be awful to drive otherwise. Same with a WRX STi or Lancer Evo. If I was gonna buy a BMW 3 series, no fucking way would I get AWD. I like manuals, because I enjoy driving that takes

...and in 2017 they still have a manual option. I think that, and the Mazda 6 are the only large family cars you can get with a stick.
