Wasn’t she also a pretty heavy smoker? With asthma? I seem to remember being amazed an athlete at that level could get away with that, especially since cold air and cigarette smoke both make me cough and wheeze, and I don’t normally have asthma.

I can’t decide if that would help with under-boob sweat, or just highlight it...

I really like Robert K. Massie’s writing - the Romanovs was also a great read. I also loved the Peter the Great TV mini series they did in the mid 1980s based on Massie’s book. We taped the whole thing on the VCR (yes, I’m old) and I watched it so many times, lots of great actors/costumes/scenery. It’s been a while…

Thanks :)! I’m trying to do hats in 4 different sizes, at least one should fit well when the baby is born, and should have a couple to grow into. The book has preemie and term sizes for each pattern, I’ve been wanting to start making hats for premature babies to donate to the local county hospital NICU.

It tends to shorten cat’s lives, too, with cars and cat fights and all. Mine only go outside on a harness/leash.
